I also find it funny that they made Juan Rico White (Argentinian) because in the book he was Asian (Filipino), didn't even have to change the name, just the location and you can cast a White guy. I hope that the next iteration of Starship Troopers will be more loyal to the source material story-wise and also cast an Asian Juan Rico.
