It's baffling to see how a developed country can become a developing country, while Argentina is the only instance of this occurring today, it should be a lesson for the rest of us on what to avoid

@tau-5-smsra Yes, but the issue is with who defines "right wing" and that is those with political power and especially those with Communist sympathies. The German S.D.P. was also seen as "far right" by the K.P.D. during the Weimar period and had Stalin banned the S.D.P. rather than forcefully merge it with the K.P.D. then German historiography would paint the S.P.D. in the same light as the Hitlerists.

@Eikenhorst P.V.V. is barely Socialistic in its economic policies, they only adopted more social policies in 2023 (which is exactly why they won the election), the S.P. is also a populist and anti-E.U. party but they don't have a hard stance on immigration.

Yeah, unskilled immigrants get the red carpet for immigration and naturalisation, I volunteer with people who have financial difficulties and it will baffle you how easy naturalization was for foreigners with heavy accents that have never worked a day in their lives. Meanwhile university educated foreigners have to pay a ridiculous amount of money and skilled labour is never recognised because "only universities are education". Whenever someone calls for immigration reform they're called "r@cist", but nobody even realises that quality is better than quantity.

14:55 Yeah, Christianity is essentially the same as Islam, people should stop believing the myth that somehow Christianity brought in the enlightenment of the West. It is not Christianity Vs. Islam, it's Secularism Vs. Religious radicalism. Don't forget that Bush, Jr. popularised the term "Islam is peace" because he didn't want U.S. Americans to ever be critical of a faith so similar to his own.

It's funny, Socialists are overrepresented in basically every major except for Economics, which is the only overwhelmingly Liberal major. In the Netherlands I've yet to meet a non-Liberal economist.

13:15 Yeah, following the money should always be the priority of every government.

The problem with the Republic of China 🇹🇼 is that the Green parties while showing solidarity with Hong Kong wouldn't want Hong Kongers to go to Taiwan because their whole identity is based on "Taiwan is Hoklo" and any other type of Han is essentially seen as "not Taiwanese", the problem with the Blues is that while historically they were anti-Communist and they are in fact the only political parties actively talking about destroying the Communist Party and having sympathy for those living under Communist rule, their policies seem to fully support Communist sovereignty and they fear that they have to fight Hoklo nationalism instead of Socialism to the point where they will defend the Communist Party. Both sides in "Taiwan" are horribly corrupt and won't really help Hong Kongers, unless a true anti-Communist movement would rise within both sides that see the continued existence of the Communist Party as a threat to their safety and freedom, rather than stupid notions of either Taiwanese independence or Chinese solidarity with the Communist government. Taiwanese independence means abandoning all struggling Chinese people (including Hong Kongers) and appeasement means sacrificing their own freedom to eventually end up like Hong Kong. Strong anti-Communists need to rise in Free China.
