  2. It's also weird that they only think that "innovation" can only occur in their strictly defined "modern" minimalistic buildings, they don't even think that you can innovate by.combining old ideas with new ideas.

  3. Look at any U.S. American government building, it looks classical and beautiful, look at any Dutch government building, most of the time it's just an ugly modern glass box. Some municipalities have beautiful classical buildings, but Groningen didn't want to stay in the Roman-style building that looks a U.S. American government building, now it is just an ugly modernist box.

  4. I'd love to see a movement like this spring up in the Far East, Oriental architecture has been completely abandoned.
