  2. 51:15 "Blackface" is only racist because of historical associations with negative stereotypes. Here in the Netherlands people have only recently began to consider "Black Pete" to be racist, purely because of U.S. American cultural sensitivities. I'm not excusing anything from Mainland China, but I don't think that it's a similar thing, note how "Whiteface" isn't frowned upon in those United States of America, while "Blackface", "Yellowface", "Redface", and "Brownface" are.
