  1. Remember that for women, top 1% is "big", top 5% (but below the top 1%) is "average", the other 95% of men are "small". This is unironically my own observation with women in real life, most women will say that almost all men have small cucumbers after they have had 1 big one, or even one above average one.

These swipe-based dating apps are not going away and 99% of all females will become like this, Gen X'ers were lucky that this is a minority within their group, but regardless of your generation, this is how women interact with this technology.
