  4. When choosing the Chinese ("Vietnamese") name for my first child I really wanted to be serious in naming it. My wife wasn't so serious about it, my mother-in-law actually also agreed with me that naming is serious... So she went to a fortune-teller. She got angry at us for picking "the wrong zodiac".

  5. I saw a documentary about the disappearance of Portugese names and there was a girl named "Doggy", she was named like that by her parents for finding "a Western name". Something makes me think that that was the position her parents were in when she was conceived. 🤣
