  1. Liberalism means that while the big companies talk, we, the people, aren't invited. Just because Socialism failed doesn't mean that the world should do a 180 and embrace unregulated Liberalism. We should strike a fine balance between government regulations and Liberalism, if the government isn't invited to the table, the people won't be heard. And any Liberal here praising private companies, no we don't "vote with our wallets", megacorporations arise when competitive companies work together and set aside their differences to attack their own consumers and employees. Liberals love Ayn Rand and small government, but the moment they see that unless they're rich that none of their chances in life will actually increase, they will keep serving as pawns for our Corporate overlords.
