The class divide is misleading, we have seen deflation in almost all aspects of life EXCEPT for college tuition and real estate as well as medical expenses, literally everything else has become relatively cheaper due to the technological deflationary pressure. Economists like Kartik Gada actually explain this in detail, but most people use the GDP to look at economic growth which is arbitrary.
