Copyrights only defend the rich, if Jason was rich then he would have gotten his royalties. The poor get nothing.

Imagine working in a surveillance state where your every blunder is publicly posted for all to see. Where your every move is being watched and may be broadcasted for the profits of your boss. Mao Louisdong at work. Just kidding, these are funny as heck.

My wife got a virus last year or two years ago, I simply used Microsoft Windows Defender and it was gone. Viruses are really rare these days.

One has to be ridiculously Eurocentric to blame the end of the Qing Dynasty on the Opium Wars, a million and one stabs ended the Empire, in fact many other wars during this same period were more impactful.

17:00 Jehova's Witnesses (J.W.'s) are also an offshoot of Miller's followers.

West Taiwan is probably the most insecure country in the world, no other people have their feelings hurt so easily.

People forget that basically every Communist country was somewhat similar to North Korea, but after the fall of the iron curtain North Korea went from looking normal to being a unique evil. Turkmenistan is a Post-Soviet state where the Soviet system largely endured (even Belarus is less Soviet than Turkmenistan).

13:57 I just like how dry and direct that message is "British America and Mexico clearly belong to us". Edit: grammar

Yemen is an interesting case because North Yemen and South Yemen were not a single cointry that was split up like Germany, Korea, and Vietnam, rather it's different countries deciding that they should one day be the same.

This channel changed a lot (for the better) since moving out of Mainland China.

03:02 Not true, Bing was simply a rename, originally M.S.N. Search was created in 1998 and is only 1 year younger than Google.

It's funny, we think of the colonisation of America being done by modern Europeans, but the Iberians were still Medieval and the early Conquistadors were essentially Medieval Knights.

I often have to research topics so I Ecosia things quite a bit, but I did notice that just in general I can spend entire days without ever using Ecosia at all.

I can kind of understand why the Baby Boomers became the rebel youth, they saw the lifestyle of their parents but not how bad life was before that, the men before them were lucky to hold a job and even have a future, the women before them were lucky to not have to work and be able to afford to stay at home, but they grew up oblivious to the struggles of their parents, that the jobs their fathers worked to death at were the only stability they had ever known, and that their mothers worked to death doing worse jobs before and as girls probably rarely saw either of their parents because before the 1950's both parents used to work and children were largely neglected. The baby boomers were the first pampered children and rebelled because they saw their parents' stringent behaviour as "repressed" but failed to understand where that comes from.

Adobe is also a notorious patent troll and they use their patents to prevent the competition from innovating, this is why they're a monopoly as no sane competition can enter the market.

01:50 Odd, I have the exact opposite. Most women I know want to get to the point while most men I know talk to share their emotions, maybe it's a cultural thing.

10:30 I am literally using a Google phone with search results from Microsoft Bing. Just because I use a Google phone doesn't mean that I have to use Google's other offerings.

This system also exists in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Etc. it's extremely easy to get a Taiwanese (Republic of China) passport but it's very difficult to get a family book and even people working there for decades have been unable to obtain one. This is because Asian countries view citizenship and nationality as distinct things.
