Roman, this was a great episode where you bring up a series of good points. I've always viewed Russia as the "Bizarro United States" the two countries are essentially the same. The people, the land, the government. Obviously there are slight differences, but we're all ultimately the same. It would be hilarious if we could with the snap of a finger flip to two countries and take everyone from Russia and everyone from the United States and switch them and see how individuals and corporations would navigate the "new and different" lands they're now in 😆😆😆 wheewwwww OK time for bed !

@nothanks9503 ok, I understand. Yeah, the old routes are still nice, but you can see what "damage" they were dealt when motorists could nod zip right by avoiding all those mom and pop gifts shops and "tourist traps" im basically speaking of Coastal Route 1 in New England.

@nothanks9503the interstate highway system really changed the layout of our country. When the states were carved up by the old "route" system, a lot of the roads were "scenic" roads that went along the coastline and other beautiful areas. The Eisenhower Interstate System kind of dealt a blow to some of these areas by diverting traffic away from them.
