  9. I've been following Niki for a couple of years now, him and Roman, and Natasha. All Russians who fled at the beginning of the war. They're all good people. Didn't know Jake was into Magic The Gathering! I've been playing since 1994, still have a bunch of cards, but sold a lot of them in 1999.

  16. I've been aware of Ukraine since about 1995 when my Aunt and Uncle's next door neighbor hosted a foreign exchange student from Ukraine who was the same age as me and my cousins. Sergiy Drapiko and his family are from Kharkov, but left for Europe shortly after the Crimean annexation in 2014. It was a lot of fun "corrupting" Sergiy with Western entertainment that typical American teenagers are into. I've since found him on Linkedin and Facebook, but haven't heard from since he went back to Ukraine in 1996.

I'm really worried about Russia blowing up the nuclear power plant, this entire conflict has me convinced that Russia is going to resort to nuclear weapons, or cause major destruction when they realize that they're not going to be able to achieve their goals. NATO and the West really need to be vocal about this, there's too much to lose.

Nearly EVERY town and city that the Russian army has entered in the last 3 years has been left a ragged pile of smoldering ash and garbage. To believe anything else is naive.
