Do you think the snowboarder would have eventually freed himself, or was he doomed? He was at a really awkward angle and packed in there pretty tight. It's a miracle the skier happened to glance back and see the bottom side of that board peeking through the snow, he could have easily just kept pushing on and never have seen him. I wonder if that boarder was with a friend or group of people that day or if anyone was missing him.
