  1. I was under the impression that if you open the door for law enforcement, that it is an invitation for them to enter the dwelling. Thats why i always keep the door closed and communicate with them through the window/storm door. I could be cery wrong about this, but thats why i never open the door for law enforcement before I know what their business is.
