We must remember that the Daesh and Qaeda that the Taliban ejected from Afghanistan moved to Uzbekistan and from there to Oil rich Kazakhstan, the riots by the salafist and wahabbi should have been expected . Kazakhstan is 80% sunni Muslim , most are secular . A Jihadi Government in Kazakhstan would be a disaster for the whole area , the EU and US should help all sides calm down, solve the massive corruption problem , and avoid salafists take over . Only some of the MIddle East Oil Sheiks would want Daesh and Qaeda in control of Kazakhstan.
