Good news from the European Union. Meta demanding € 12.99 a month to not abuse its users privacy is insulting, unethical and illegal. The EU making this extortion illegal is refreshing and the right move . Let's remember how Meta and Facebook got caught yesrs ago using a subsidiary servers in the Middle East, ONAVO, to spy on Politicians, Executives, Military, Minors, etc., and use the information to trade and win Contracts and targeted ads ,etc. They paid a fine , but walked away to plot the next scam. Anyone else besides Zuckerberg would have been indicted and lose it's Business License. In my opinion a boicot is the correct defense against these thieves and gangsters.
