  1. Europe is going to design and build a broadband satellite communication backbone , 290 satellites : " SpaceRise picked by EU to build IRIS2 satellite comms constellation", Telecoms. In my opinion the EU Commission should approve a European design that is also compatible with SpaceX Starlink, OneWeb, etc., so is flexible and smart , part public and part secure and private, commercial and military, open source and proprietary , very flexible, with multiple energy sources, plug - and - play . Of course Europe Bureaucrats will make it inflexible, proprietary only, and in the end the Middle East Oligarchs will control the Chips and Databases and AI and they will use it to spy and steal from all the Europeans, who will be running around adjusiting their silk ties and wondering where the € 14 billion went . I hope I'm wrong.
