In my opinion the trouble is Softbank still controls 90 % of ARM Holdings, the chip architecture in 90 % of mobile devices,etc. Teaming up with a surveillance company and investors in 2 Countries without Free Speech, Free Media and Free Elections can be big trouble down the road. What are Softbank plans long term ? In my opinion RISC-V , with smaller and cheaper cores, using much less energy and higher clocks rates than ARM are a key alternative. Sadly Brussels and Washington DC are so distracted with the Ukraine War Business, and without Ukraine Presidential Elections, that they are driving blind in my opinion, what a waste !
