No one wants to see China going down into Social Unrest, Violence or much less Civil War .If I was one of the seven Members of the Standing Committee, I would suggest local elections for a position of a " Petitioner Group " , like an Ombudsman group, that picks - up requests by the People and pass them along to the Central Government, a group where every member has at least 20 years of Work Experience , in the Farm, the Factory , the City or the Hospital , etc. , but 20 years of Working in the real world and paying Taxes on it . Ideally China Citizens gain the experience to choose smart leaders , and avoid the mistakes of the West : Campaign Donations, Lobby's and financial and political Greed .
