The Daesh - Qaeda sunni salafist group attacking Aleppo is the old al - Nusra terrorist group , now called Hayat Tahrir al - Sham , HTS , and they attack shiite president Assad and the Kurds, Christians and others behind Assad. In my opinion to call these Daesh groups " rebels " is absurd . Lets hope Pr Biden & Pr Trump will call them for what they are : some of the worst Jihadi terrorists in the world . Sadly we know that Commissioner Kallas will call them the " wondefrul freedom fighters of Aleppo ", and EU must sanction any one who does not love them . The stupidity never ends .
