  1. Have you ever been to the VA hospital? I was a hospice nurse one of my patients was in the VA. He had a pacemaker put in. I went to see him at around 10 am. His pacemaker site had bled thru his gown and onto his sheets. There was food on his face from breakfast. That told me that no one had checked on him since 730 am. Almost 3 hrs. Very very poor care. The medical community knew the VA had a bad reputation in our city. I hope they have improved bc they had a long way to go

  2. My uncle was a WWII vet. He had a nasty looking growth on his face. He got a referral to the derm clinic. After many calls to the clinic to get an appointment four months later No appointment and he never did get in to see a dermatologist at all. This was the PHX VA
