  3. McClellan was a democrat and had his sites on the Presidency. He puposefully held the fighting back to make Lincoln look bad . He was a traitor right under Lincoln's nose. Had Lincoln had any kind of Generals at all....the war would not gone long and therefore saved hundreds of thousands of lives
