  1. Congrats to Ukraine on the EU candidate status. Joining might be slow, but joining the EU is a marathon, not a sprint. You will get there. 🇺🇦 Don't listen to those who say the EU has a queue system. That is wrong. It does not. It doesn't matter WHEN a country has applied. A country gets in to the EU when it fulfils the requirements. Ukraine can bypass countries that have "waited" longer, if it reaches the requirements faster. If a country has applied but never reaches the requirements, then that country will be waiting forever (examples Turkey, Serbia). Ukraine has its EU membership in its own hands. Välkommen till EU-familjen. Ära åt Ukraina. Slava Ukraini. I have seen so much misinformation when it comes to the EU "wait time", so I wanted to clarify the facts.
