  5. Swedish here. Orban and Hungary should not have the EU presidency, but I don't think we have a way of stopping them. Whoever holds the EU presidency can't do that much damage in that position though. The presidency is kind of a host at a party. Everyone goes to the host's house for the meetings. But the host doesn't have much more of a say than the guests. Every 6 months the presidency rotates, so every country in the EU gets a turn at hosting for 6 months. The next 6 months won't be the EU's best, but it shouldn't be a disaster either. Thanks Jake. 🤗

  9.  @thealphazoid  I'm pretty sure the OP was being sarcastic and making fun of the orcs for thinking that we suffer in the EU. The orcs have been saying for months that we are freezing and starving in the rest of Europe (we are not). So we make fun of them. It's not intended as an insult to Ukrainians, it's intended to ridicule the orcs. 💛💙

  11. Thank you for calling out Musk. There are still people who blindly idolise Musk even though they are otherwise of average intelligence, and supportive of Ukraine. I have seen some people who know what Musk has done still call him a genius. It's bizarre. Personally I won't log back into Twitter until Musk is gone. And if he wrecks Twitter we'll need a new alternative. I'm sure one will come along.

  14. That is my hope too. As it is now, there are certain very weak Western and central EU politicians that are dragging everyone else down in the EU. Parts of Western Europe is still not listening to eastern Europe properly.

  27. The military forces within the EU could and should deal with this. I say this as an EU citizen. Europe is our land, so we should defend it. The Balkans and The Baltics are two different areas. One is in northern Europe, the other in southern Europe. It is unbelievably frustrating that our politicians are doing so little. By that I mean EU politicians.

  33. It also seems that the bridge from Russia to Crimea is still intact, which means that Russia can pump in supplies that way. Whereas the railroads into Ukraine in other places have been sabotaged, making it more difficult for the Russians to get supplies into those areas. So let us hope some kind soul blows up the Crimea bridge.
