  22. both my parents had dementia and it took them several minutes to recognize who I was and who they were talking to in general. They could remember events from the distant past but not what happened a minute ago. Otherwise they were energetic, sometimes highly energetic, even into their 90s. Biden generally does not display those traits. Instead, he is scarier: he seems unusually slow, he has a death stare, his speech is slurred and confused, he has trouble collecting his thoughts in a coherent manner, he seems stubborn and out of touch and he tends to reminisce a little too much about the past. All traits of a man who is gradually yet steadily shutting down. I don't know if he can make it through another year much less 4 years. Eventually, the 25th Amendment will have to be considered.
