  12. originally conceived as a way for the smaller states to have an equal voice to the bigger states, it never fulfilled its role in weeding out a defective candidate like Trump. Instead, it has become a sinecure for political hacks and a rubber stamp for the popular winner in each state. It is entirely undemocratic as this point.

Thing is he's dying to talk to me but I tell him I don't speak with Trump voters, despite the fact that we are both fighting for survival in the same room. Life sometimes plays these practical jokes on you. :)

Besides, Comey deliberately didn't tell them anything we didn't hear on tv, for reasons that are obvious now, so there was nothing to tell Trump & Co. This was a failed deflection operation, as was the Tomahawk strike and the MOAB bomb.

However, I would have to look into her record first, hear her platform if she runs, and talk to relatives and friends who live in the city and environs. Being a resident of New Jersey it is not my direct fight, but I am still interested in good government wherever. Other than her or Abrams, what are some names you think I should be looking at?

  49. most 18 year olds, myself included when I was that age, see life as this huge unfolding adventure, filled with seemingly endless possibilities, and having to make choices at that age is intimidating, and so they overcompensate with arrogant bravado. They think their elders are stupid yet they cannot even decide a college major. As time goes by and we grow older we begin to realize the weight of responsibility and the consequences of the choices we make and we see what those choices have done to the people around us. It's called maturity.
