  1. this is the one appointment that disturbs me the most. The Justice Department can block all investigations and prosecution of President Trump, Republicans in general and Trump's greedy donors. He can place incompetent, bigoted Federal judges and prosecutors that can serve for many decades. Not to mention the assault on freedom of speech and civil and human rights that will border on the level of war crimes.

Changing demographics are an irrefutable fact, and the percentage of the rural white vote will continue to shrink to eventual irrelevance with each passing election. Take away the over-65 vote and Clinton would win in a landslide, popular and electoral. One more election where there is a split in the popular and electoral vote and the people will demand the abolishment of the Electoral College. The bad news is many millions of people will be hurt and God forbid will die over the next 4 years who would not have been harmed before.

  4. DSherman50 that's precisely what scares me about Sessions (and all of his choices for that matter). Trump could be as bad as I think he is - or a whole lot worse. We will be lucky if he and his gang are only corrupt clowns.
