both my parents had dementia and it took them several minutes to recognize who I was and who they were talking to in general. They could remember events from the distant past but not what happened a minute ago. Otherwise they were energetic, sometimes highly energetic, even into their 90s. Biden generally does not display those traits. Instead, he is scarier: he seems unusually slow, he has a death stare, his speech is slurred and confused, he has trouble collecting his thoughts in a coherent manner, he seems stubborn and out of touch and he tends to reminisce a little too much about the past. All traits of a man who is gradually yet steadily shutting down. I don't know if he can make it through another year much less 4 years. Eventually, the 25th Amendment will have to be considered.

@lindaflesch7303 perhaps (I scoff at YouTube medical analysis) but the point is independent voters who decide elections believe SOMETHING is wrong and, worse, feel they are being lied to.

@Tavera12 have hope, the voters just might be able to figure out good v. evil by September when the voting starts. Maybe - just maybe - Biden has just enough left in him to summon his inner 1948 Harry Truman. The fight isn't over until the count reaches 10.

@lindaflesch7303 which is the point: too many independent voters may have irretrievably lost faith in his competence to be re-elected and the polls seem to confirm it. Democrats can't be like MAGA and believe that reality doesn't exist.
