  1. short and simple, the Democrats took the Rust Belt for granted, they never even bothered to campaign in WI. Having said that, they probably would have lost anyway, voters wanted a common thief masquerading as a populist hero this year, and boy did they get what they asked for.

  2. ***** unlike Trump, who promised virtually everything that he won't be able to deliver, Clinton promised nothing that she couldn't reasonably be able to perform. Her problem was taking her base for granted and not realizing that a combination of unfair Trump/GOP attacks and the fact that she does not have Obama's unique charisma was not enough to win WI, MI, PA, and FL until it was too late. She honestly believed that the American white rural voter would not be dumb enough to entrust their future well-being to an incompetent, corrupt racist and sexist and she was wrong, as was I.

  3. ***** that she won the popular vote by 2% is the only thing that gives me and the rest of sane America and the sane world (a rapidly collapsing universe) hope that all is not lost after 240 years. But it is a long way to 2020 and like Invasion of the Body Snatchers more and more people are becoming Trumplike pod people every day.
