  1. it's Nov 2017 and Dore is actually half right. Aside from the GOP Senate having stolen a SCOTUS seat from Obama and given us someone who may be worse than Scalia, they have failed to get anything else significant done, in part because of Dem resistence but largely because their policies are so bad that even grassroots Republicans hate them. The 2017 elections have shown that it will take a group effort from all Dems and independents, not just progressives, to sweep out the GOP in 2018. If Dore opens his eyes he will see that Dems have largely adopted his agenda anyway.
