  1. maybe it's me but I have lived in Jersey City on and off for the past 31 years (I moved here from my native Long Island) but with very few exceptions I have been treated wonderfully here - and that was way before I became ill and got both my legs amputated below the knee, thus engendering the sympathy attitude. Kindness is within New Jerseyans, they just need a reason to bring it out.
