  2. actually not, they are moving closer to what the Republicans aspire to, an unregulated oligarchy. However, one is more likely to become rich in China from modest means than in the U.S. Except for Wall Street backed up by a ridiculously huge military arsenal, America would be a slightly more advanced third world country.
