@LeonCutajar They haven't. Even in WW2, when the top end was bombed by the Japanese, the Americans did nothing, despite having military personnel stationed around the country

Ex Military here, I wouldn't have agreed to that 6 months ago, but it's become painfully obvious that America needs bases here more than we need them, at the moment, because trump won't lift a finger to help us, if it was needed. Being an American ally only makes us a bigger target right now. We'd be better off looking at Europe/NATO than trusting the US, for ANYTHING

@aaron655 China would be a better trade partner than the US at the moment. They have been threatening us in the past, purely because they see us as a US ally.

Neither have any power over trump, but neither need it. Just don't deal with him. Find new markets. We can't trust the US anyway, while trump is at the helm
