  1. I was a bus mechanic for a long time, bottle jacks were the only jack we used to lift buses. Of course you wouldn't get under one unless you also had stands, under both the chassis and the body. You'd actually be more likely to be squashed by an airbag blowing and the body dropping down than by a jack failing
