  6. When a player gets drafted into a team it's referred to as "Getting a guernsey". I've never heard of a guernsey cow, maybe a Jersey cow ;)

  7. The original South Melbourne guernsey had a red V, like the Melbourne one, the opera house appeared when they moved to Sydney. Guessing a lot of younger people than me wouldn't even remember the South Melbourne Swans. I'm old as mud lol
