I lived in Melbourne for a couple of years, I avoided turning right anywhere in the city, not because I couldn't do a hook turn, but because I never knew which intersections they had to be done on. I think a couple of times I was all ready to turn right, then saw the "Hook turn only" sign and had to abort and go straight, because getting across to the left lane was never gonna happen lol. I guess it's easier now, with Google Maps, etc
