@Paddy-vc3fl The scary part is, there is nothing saying the Commander in chief, who has all the nuclear secrets, can be a convicted criminal, and doesn't need any sort of security clearance, yet the troops on the ground need a clearance to even be in the same room as any classified documents

@samspetifore9875 I found it confusing at first, too, but it's not as weird as it first seems. Giving people in low population areas a bit more say does keep the candidates a bit more honest, at least in theory. Otherwise any candidate would simply run on policies that benefit places like California or similar, and the lower populated areas could end up neglected. The flip side of that, though, is the electoral college system is what gave power to trump! So I'm not sure what the answer is

This Australian is somewhat stunned by how dumb they are, too. Actually there seems to be a lot of dumb Americans, and also a lot of smart ones. Really seems like a 2 tier system of education. Or something....
