Western Germany was constantly attacked by the other allied nations, while Russia kept getting defeated until they were able to push back, and then millions were forced to run into gunfire under the threat of some jyu shooting you in the back if you didn't rush. And Germany didn't "invade", they were stopping the death of thousands of Germans in stolen German land by communist Polish militia. Then France and Germany didn't honor their word (letting AH stop the ethic cleansing) and declared war on Germany. Russia and Germany may have "agreed" to this, but Russia was always planning on invading Europe to spread communism and kill millions upon millions. Germany knew this and knew they had to stop them.

Except that Germany didn't start any war, and Polish communists (led by you guess who!) had killed over 50,000 German citizens in the land stolen from Germany and given Poland from the Treaty of Versailles. So when AH finally got the go ahead to stop it from Britain and France with the promise they would not wage war on Germany, he went and stopped it, then Britain and France lied and declared war. Which started the entire war. Leaving AH no choice but to push on through Poland to finally destroy communism and save Europe.
