2
those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. You were likely not a bill-paying adult last time this cycle was upon the US housing market 2007-2012
2
you are not?
2
the joke is on that fool seller
2
Wrong. In many areas (Sun Belt) homes are not increasing in price but rather already deflating. Do your own research before commenting please

2
you left out the part that in most areas a home can be rented for 50% of what an equivalent home would cost for mortgage+tax+insurance
2
slow and steady housing price deflation

Bastille style
2
yup
2
yea pay rent that is 50% of cost for a mortgage for equivalent home while those home prices are deflating is the prudent and wise plan
2
the very rich do not care at all about inflation
2
it wont be worth so much too much longer
2
oh sure let us know when and where. You were obviously not a bill-paying adult last time housing prices corrected 2008-2012 and many lost 50% value within 2-3 years in many Sun Belt states
2
nobody cares

I voted to recall and many others did the same. If voting mattered, the administration would not let us do it IMO.

@jaydeeare285 historical facts! not a story. The post is about LA. Check for youtself what happened to housing prices there 2003-2012. 50% price drop peak-trough. Please answer this simple question: Would you buy a home in LA today at these prices? I suspect you are not old enough to have understood what was going on the last housing market correction so your opinion is not coherent here. Keep in mind this channel focuses on the Sun Belt so if you are in Rust Belt or Northeast you dont get it and are arguing for nothing. This channel may not apply to your market. If you think housing prices are going to appreciate, ho invest and place your bets then but I say that is foolish. Why do you get upset Jay? afraid you missed the peak to sell?
2
@moochythecat3435 same happened 2008-2011. Many pets were left behind in the yards of the soon-to-be foreclosing homes. Sad and disgraceful.
2
not true at all
2
