She couldn't keep a single one of the lies she was telling straight in her head. Not only that, it really says a lot that being 30 seconds late to pick up her kids is more important than possibly killing somebody with her car.

I don't think anyone involved, whether it be the cops or the dog owner, acted with much tact or common sense.

ANY dog can be a "dangerous dog".

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he called the cops on himself just to get the hell away from her for a few days. 😂

I disagree. I just think people should have intelligence and common sense, do their homework and due diligence, and know what kind of dog they're bringing into their home before they bring it there.

La Crosse reminds me a lot of Jamestown, New York. It's about the same size, and has all the same problems. Over the last 30 years or so, it's really gone downhill there.

 @opal92nwf ANY dog can be dangerous. Even a Labrador or a Golden Retriever can be a "vicious" dog if it's raised in such an environment.

I agree with you. I'm all for the arrest and think it was a good one, but he should have just told her why she was wanted and taken her right then and there. The boyfriend was nowhere nearby at the time, and doing so could very likely have prevented this situation from escalating into what it became. If I'm his sergeant, I ask questions about this after watching the body cam footage.

If $10 for a seatbelt ticket makes this dude throw a full-on adult temper tantrum, I'd hate to see him get nailed here in Pennsylvania where it's $75. Even worse yet, in some states it's over $100, plus enhancers if you have kids in the car and what not. Not to mention the fact that if the cop really wanted to be a dick, he could be charged with ripping up his money. An offense that carries penalties of up to 6 months in the can and a $100 fine.

That taser would likely have little to no effect on that dog, and the way it moves around, it would probably just rip the prongs right out.

I think that's a little exaggerant. However, I will agree with you on his demeanor. If I placed a 911 call and needed serious help and he showed up, I would probably ask if they could send another officer.

This took place in Wisconsin. Who, along with neighboring Minnesota and Illinois could probably constitute the midwestern version of California if they all united into one state. I would probably go as far as to throw Michigan in there as well. And then on the East Coast, everything to the east of Ohio and north of Washington, D.C. (including the District itself) would become Cali East. Lol.

Funny thing is, in many cities nowadays that's not far from the truth.

What gang is Tyrone in? Karens Anonymous?

Just proves what Ace Ventura, Pet Detective said: "so... animals CAN sense evil."

 @brianreeves8812 right? 😂

I'm going to guess you're from either Philadelphia, Portland, OR, or San Francisco.

I absolutely agree. His lollygagging gave the boyfriend a chance to interject himself and escalate the situation into what it became. He should have just been square with her right then and there about what her charges were, and taken her into custody. Although I do take into account the fact that that appears to be a quite large homeless camp in a city park, and he probably wanted some backup there because he knew shit was going to roll downhill. Either way, if I'm his sergeant and I watch the body cam footage, I would probably have a few questions for him.
