  1. The crazy thing about Youngstown is that much of the east side was never even built before it was "abandoned". Mainly over by Jacobs Road and the Sharon Line. They laid all the streets and infrastructure planning for future growth, and then the steel industry went all to hell and Sheet & Tube left town. The city closed off many of those streets over there, but some of them are still open and it's crazy to drive down them and think that not only are they abandoned, but that nothing ever even existed there.
