  2. Same here. I've done deliveries where the customer orders $80 worth of food getting delivered to a $500,000 house, and I get nothing. Yet I've done $20-30 deliveries in the hood where the customer leaves me a $10 tip.

  4. I'm a lifelong Bengals fan, and I wish it would have been Joe Burrow bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to the AFC. But congratulations to Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs for doing so. One day, those will be our fans celebrating. But for now, I'm happy for Kansas City for finishing the job and representing the AFC well.

  5. Here in the United States you would probably wait three or four hours for someone to pick up your order, if it gets picked up at all. I've done Doordash for 3 years part-time, and can tell when a customer tips and when they don't, based on the base pay from the order. If it's an offer paying simply base pay, I don't accept it. I decline it and leave it for another driver to pick up. Although, Doordash has gotten wise to it and has started "bundling" the no-tip orders with higher-paying orders from the same restaurant and going to another customer in the same neighborhood in order to get drivers to accept them.

  6. I'm a part-time Doordash driver myself. There is absolutely no justifying this driver's behavior, and he deserved to be kicked off the platform. I'd be very happy with $5 on a $20 order, considering that there have been times where customers have ordered twice that and left me nothing. But I don't swear at them. I just make a note of the customer's name, and decline their order on subsequent shifts.

  11. I'm a part-time driver. I really don't care so much about the tip. I usually stick to the dollar-per-mile rule. If I get an order that's going to pay me $3.50, but I only have to drive two or three blocks total from store to customer to deliver it, I'll accept it. But if an $8 order comes across the app and I have to drive clear across town, I decline it.
