So they dug some trenches and built a camping site, in the radioactive forests of Chernobyl, again all by accident. Then some sailor smoked a sigarette, the Moskva exploded, another tragic accident.   9. Not really, and infra red does not 'give only black and white images', usually it gives no image whatsoever, or totall blackness. Because it is outside the range of whatour eyes can see. We can use technology to translate IR light into visible light, and then we will see the different IR wave lengths as colors.

  33. Ten BILLION Dollars, sir. NASA, ESA and Canada spent ten billion dollars on a telescope, not on bribes or corruption: proof that it can be done. US military has a 800 billion dollar budget annually, so ten billion on science is peanuts. But projects like this show the need to have some moral standards. So the mean people on earth should watch this Webb thing and learn. This is what mankind can do, this is what we are capable of. If we care enough.
