  1.  @donaldduck4888  Assuming it's just "pointless slaughter of battalion after battalion" may be the wrong assumption. Maybe you should call it "progress", and realize that creating a bridgehead has strategic advantages. But maybe it's your goal to make people think that this bridgehead is "nothing but" a hopeless position on the wrong side of a huge river. Propaganda? Demotivating Ukrainians when they succeed serves Russia's goals, calling Ukraine's succes a "pointless military action" sounds like pro Russian propaganda and nothing else. The invasion is pointless slaughter, russia will never succeed in occupying Ukraine and adding it to their empire: if anything is the "most pointless military action", it would be the invasion itself.

  3. I do not thing that any of your counter claims are valid, but nice try anyway. I hope you realize the futility of debating Anders reputation like this. He is an analyst, not a prophet or fortune teller.
