@thomasnewcomb2079 Netherlands has ASML, once owned by Philips. They won the competition with Canon and Nikon. Philips also used to have a 25+% interest in TSMC, Philips used to be one of our best companies. Now they make air fryers.

@IamdeaththedestroyerofWorlds Germany is incredible powerful, hard to overestimate. Most powerful country of Europe, but they are forced to shift from economic power to military power. Germany will become even more powerfull but at the expense of the life standards of ordinary Germans, I´m afraid. Hope that will be temporary.

When the Russian empire collapsed, it was replaced by the USSR, big step back. When USSR collapsed, it was replaced by Putins RF, huge step back. Putins russia is collapsig as well, I fear whatever will replace putins regime. A strong NATO is more important now than ever before.

@johnbuckner2828 Russian military industry needs these planes to have good track reconds, for sale purposes. Russian military has huge problems training their pilots, maintaining their equipment, and protecting their planes from all kinds of missiles. So, no matter how good their planes look on paper, Ukraine is the testing ground, and Russia is scared to employ these planes. So yes, Russian airforce sucks big time: so they keep their planes on the ground, otherwise they can't sell war planes anymore.

And you seem to be desperate to share your fears, for the energy crisis, for nucleair threats, for economical collapse: fears that obviously help Putin in his "quest". I live in the Netherlands, not in Ukraine, THEY are dying right now, I have problems. Learn to wear their shoes, instead of spreading fear and panic. We are a resourceful people, we will find ways. And our lives are not threatened by the russians, only our high standard of living is under threat now.
