  1. I do wish they’d put the episode numbers in the description. Fortunately, Alice’s voice is ageless lol but I do prefer the style of the first couple seasons and the recent change back to that style in the most recent season. I’m from Massachusetts so we RARELY get the newest episodes of you Brits’s history and archeology series until a year or two later. I’m always looking online for what new series are out over there so I can try my best to find a way to watch lol

  3. I really enjoy ancient history but Simcha Jacobovic is a crackpot. I used to like some of his stuff but the more I’ve learned about the guy the less I’ve liked anything he has to say. I’m open to new theories and ideas but he just goes off the deep end a lot of the time.

  15. I love the history, especially ancient history… but is this going to just be another Timeline sister channel that shares all the same videos just with different titles? I’d really love to see Ancient Egypt: Chronicles of an Empire if that’s at all possible. I can’t find anything beyond episode 3 anywhere 😫

  16. Possibly. I would imagine they all have their own specific disciplines. Alice Roberts is definitely on another level though, genuinely a brilliant person.

I was excited until I realized this was a 30 year old episode 😒 Appreciate the upload but hard to watch these episodes when we know a lot more information has been discerned in the time since this aired. I mean, the Bible is interesting at least in terms of understanding the history of the Jews and the holy land

Antiquities thieves and black market antiquities is a BILLION dollar industry and ppl literally kill over it. Think Elliot Ness vs. Organized Crime... except it’s literally Zahi Hawass vs Organized Crime.

  48. Maybe they did. Would make sense to shave it down to like a base level and then the final carving on-site. There were dozens? Hundreds of these stones? I’m guessing they perfected whatever method they were using and found the easiest possible solution with the technology they had.
