  1. I’ve been searching for a video on WWII forward observers and can’t find anything. My grandfather part of the march to Thala. He was a forward observer for the 9th Infantry, 26th field artillery division. I’m really bummed I can’t find any content hardly at all about what their jobs were like and what they went through.

  2. My grandfather was a forward observer for the 9th Infantry, 26th field artillery division. Im just now learning about the 800-mile march the artillery division went on (though he was a Sergeant so he was probably on a jeep lol). I’m amazed at what men like my grandfather and your dad lived through and fought for.
