I for one appreciate maintaining updated information and discoveries for us… this particular topic is evolving FAST and new discoveries are being made left and right with all of the new technologies available. I get annoyed watching outdated videos so knowing the channel isn’t afraid to edit or upload a new video to let us know the latest science and scuttlebutt.

We today do not give our ancestors enough credit for industrious and intelligent they were. Thinking there’s no way they could have had sea worthy boats, at least along coasts of not all out ocean traversing boats.

Awesome episode! Still hoping for a video on the paleo Indians of the Northeast!!

@creepingslaytor6073 haha no worries my friend, sorry if I came across cocky lol I agree though, it’s fcked up how much of the beauty of our country has been paved over or just bulldozed and razed for the sake of destruction. “Oh, these are your beautiful, spiritually significant and ancient mountain territory? Cool. We’re going to tell you it’s yours and then take it back and carve our presidents into it. Thanks a buuuunch.” I’m with you friend.

@billydakid9814 Or low income, or minority areas… basically anywhere that won’t have the means to fight it or who they deem lesser members of society. Don’t get me wrong, you’re completely right. I’m just saying there are a few other groups the government really CHOOSES to inconvenience or flat out screw over. Native Americans have been getting screwed over since the day the colonizing slave trader Columbus showed up over 500 yes ago.

Sooooo hoping for this same episode but for the Northeast/New England 😬

My yard is located across a river from the Sweets Knoll and Boats sites in Dighton, MA, which I believe dates to the paleoindians 10-12,000 years ago. I recently found some really fascinating artifacts and brought them to be looked at by an expert and he told me what I’ve found date to at least 8,000 years and possibly as early as 12,000 years ago. There was a massive dig done in 1969 in my back yard, it’s called the Bear Swamp Site I & Site II in Berkley, MA. If anyone’s interested, the dig was published in the 1969 Bulletin of the Massachusetts Archeological Society- Volume 30, by Arthur Staples and Roy C. Athearn.

Ahhh! I’m pumped for this video. I’m so excited for these new discoveries that have totally thrown our understanding of migration right out the window. It makes me feel that it’s definitely way more likely that humans came over from Polynesia and/or via boat along the northern coast. It also makes me seriously consider the idea that pre-homo humans may have even made their way over at some point. Maybe we’ll never know bc those fossils could be king gone but I think it’s pretty cool to think about lol

Nooo! Not true. You will never see the US build a highway through an affluent, predominantly white area or neighborhood. No, no. They reserve that honor for underprivileged brown neighborhoods and areas. I know there will be plenty of ppl who want to argue that, but it’s not an opinion it’s an objective fact.

@therockinboxer but in America the govt likes to build on poor people and brown people. And not build to improve. Build to gentrify of build to cause inconvenience bc they don’t want to inconvenience the wealthy whites. True story.

@creepingslaytor6073 lmao dude that’s not even remotely close to accurate. Idk where you got your numbers from but less than 1% of United States land is roadway. I think you’re underestimating just how absolutely physically enormous the US is. We occupy like 7% of all of the land on the entire planet
