  2. I agree with the sentiment, but we can’t even reconcile current events let alone the past. We’ve got republicans running around literally saying “a lot of good came from slavery” and denying that a cult leader got crushed in an election. If ppl would learn to accept reality and trust the experts and historians, then maybe we’ll have a chance to move forward
