I mean, the native Americans had some pretty significant legitimate bones to pick with the colonists… it was awful, yes. But at the same time, that was how they fought… they didn’t have European standards for life. Idk, it’s not black and white is all I’m saying I guess.

@lindakay9552 It’s a fascinating history, if not heartbreaking. My ancestor was killed while he was walking to the fort in Taunton, MA. He was a blacksmith, so likely strong as an ox, but not sure he was ever trained in fighting despite (we believe) his status as “person of means” when he arrived as a teenager. Story goes that his son ended up “taking revenge” on the warrior who killed his father… that’s by no means a brag, just interesting history (to me lol) to think about the things that happened in my family for me to get here

@lindakay9552 My 9th great grandfather was killed during King Philip’s War… fortunately not before my 8th great grandfathers birth 🙄 I was just being cheeky though lol you’re right, that was also pretty bad on my part to say the wrong tribe when it was literally written right there and the name of the movie. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
