I'd recommend limiting the total time per panelist by evenly dividing the time. The panelist could use where they wanted but whenever given the floor, their time would decrease and they could see the timer. Keeps one or two panelists from hogging the mic.

__*Face the nation:*__ please do this type of panel for at least the last 10-15 minutes of the show for all topics discussed that day. These everyday people panels are better than the professional panelists, imho. Sorry. One recommendation: limit total time per panelist by evenly dividing the time. @alexhanna2445 Perhaps a mix then or a professional panel and a lay panel?

28:00 Face the nation: you can clarify this with panelist Republic = elected head of state Monarchy = hereditary head of state Representative Democracy = people rule via voting Direct democracy = people rule directly or via sortition for councils & offices Parliamentary = people vote for the legislature which then chooses the head of govt (political leader) based on majority or coalition leader. Executive/presidential = the head of state (figurehead) and the head of govt (political leader) are the same office.
